Early Help Co-ordinator

Our services are designed to put the child first and promote resilience in children, young people and their families and protect them from harm. Working to promote the right outcomes for children and young people the first time working alongside colleagues in the multi agency MASH team promoting early help options and support such as positive parenting, pro-social behaviours at home, school and in the community, offering interventions that supports problems escalating and enables children and young people to flourish.

The focus on the role is on building resilience in families using key tools such as Signs of Safety, Barnet Threshold Continuum, Graded Care Profile, within a multi agency setting collating information from partners being curious about a children and young peoples lives.

For this role, you will need to demonstrate that you have experience in direct work with children young people and with families, demonstrate the ability to engage with families, professionals sometimes in difficult circumstances to support the service offered to children in need and their families in order to safeguard or promote the welfare of children within their homes.

You will have:

- A good knowledge and understanding of the legislative framework and polices in relation to safeguarding children.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly in writing assessments and plans for young people.
- Proven experience in demonstrating your impact on families in achieving positive outcomes for children and influence the professional networks that you work with.
- Innovative and positive engagement with children and families in their assessments and plans and a passion for delivery of high quality services and interventions to vulnerable children in partnership with a wide range of agencies.
