**About the role**
This is an opportunity to be part of our experienced family support team providing the Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND) Information, Advice and Support service to parents/carers and young people in Barnet.
**About you**
You will:
- Have the skills to effectively support young people with SEND to express their views.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships with families and professionals
- A good understanding of the Special Educational Needs system.
- Experience in working in either a school, educational or advice-giving setting, mentoring or advocacy position
- A commitment to promoting equal rights and safeguarding of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
- Ability to manage a complex workload and meet tight timescales Competent and confident in the use of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent (preferably in a relevant discipline).
- Ability to deliver information sessions to different stakeholders.
