Adults Social Care & Health comprises of people with a range of professional specialisms and expertise, including social workers; occupational therapists; contract brokers; staff delivering statutory services; financial and performance analysts.

**About the role**
This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead on stepping up our ambition for engagement and co-production in adult social care in Barnet.
You will be leading on engagement and co-production with our residents who use adult social care services and carers, making sure that the work we do is high quality, has clear outcomes and we hear from a wide range of people.
You will be responsible for developing strategies and plans for engagement and co-production, working closely with residents, colleagues and partner organisations, and putting these plans into action.
You will work with and influence senior colleagues across Adults and Health to make sure people’s views are heard and acted on - to make improvements, to shape new services, and as part of ‘business as usual’.
**About you**
We are looking for someone who is a passionate advocate for engagement and co-production in adult social care.
We are looking for someone with leadership and management skills who is looking to build these further.
You should have excellent stakeholder management skills and be able to adapt your style to work with a wide range of people including a members of the public, senior colleagues and staff from other organisations. We are looking for someone who can share a clear vision with others, build consensus and give clear direction.
You should have experience of managing projects - this doesn’t have to be a formal qualification - we are looking for someone who can organise and plan the work, get the right people involved, keep work on track, measure success and manage risks.
For this role we are particularly open to requests for flexible working arrangements, part time, job share arrangements and other requests that will support someone with less conventional career pathways or a less predictable schedule.
