JOB MISSION:
To provide effective support to the supply chain function.

**MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
To manage all inbound finished goods purchase orders ensuring the timely arrival at the warehouse to maximise order book conversion opportunities.
- Ensure all warehouse receipts are planned in a sequence that coincides with customer requirements thus enabling maximum order book conversion opportunities.
- Immediately escalate and communicate any delays to Logistics Specialist and Customer Services.
- Publish monthly report for the Operations Manager that measures the PO arrival dates at warehouse versus promised date.

To ensure that the stock on our Aurora system is correct and matches the inventory levels that appear on DSV’s warehouse management system. To ensure that receipts and despatches occur on time. To ensure that any required stock adjustments are actioned on the system accurately and in a timely manner:

- Daily processing of EDI files between Aurora and the warehouse, investigating discrepancies.
- Run the stock reconciliation report weekly and ensure stock between Aurora and DSV is correct.
- Monitor all inbound shipments to ensure that all receipts and despatches fall within the parameters of our agreed warehouse KPIs. When a failure does occur, immediately work with the warehouse to ensure that reasons for the failure are understood and a resolution has been agreed to correct the issue.
- Using the daily aged pick note report, monitor and identify any pick notes which have not been shipped as per their requested ship date. When a failure does occur, work with the warehouse and customer services to resolve any issues holding up the despatch.

To ensure pick notes on the system feed through to the warehouse effectively and facilitate the warehouses delivering their service level agreements. To ensure there is clear priority given to pick notes**.**
- Work with Customer Service Manager and the warehouse to ensure that DSV has an executable warehouse work plan to help them better manage their workload.
- Work with Customer Services to ensure effective management of priority/urgent orders, and any required changes within the priorities.
- Control all ‘in-warehouse’ pick note cancellation requests.
- Plan all VAS activities within the Warehouse, ensuring that customer delivery needs are fulfilled and prioritising VAS workload to maximise monthly order book conversion targets.
- Ensure the immediate, proactive reporting of any ‘at risk’ position which may result in failure to hit targets within the business period.
- Manage and resolve all outbound delivery failures, ensuring that a full root cause analysis is completed and process improvements implemented to eliminate the possibility of similar failures occurring in the future.

To ensure returns are receipted on the system within a timely manner so that customers can receive credit notes within 10 working days of the return arriving back at the warehouse.
- Ensure all agreed returns are expedited.
- Monitor the outstanding returns report and ensure that any exceptions are resolved within 10 working days, escalating the issue to Customer Service Manager, Warehouse Supervisor or Operations Manager where appropriate.

To liaise with the marketing teams to ensure that all shipments required for all marketing events are planned for in enough time to allow for on time delivery. Ensure the correct forwarder or courier is utilised to move the product at the best cost whilst still allowing for on time delivery to the correct location.

To provide cover and support to other members of the Logistics team to ensure that all priority tasks are completed within the required lead-times.

**REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS**:

- Experience of a similar role would be an advantage
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work as part of a team and alone.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise long and short-term objectives.
- Problem solving skills and understanding of root cause analysis methodology.
- Shows attention to detail, accuracy and timing.
- Diplomatic and able to negotiate solutions calmly and effectively.
