We have an exciting new opportunity for a HR and Admin Officer to join an established company based in Milton Keynes. The company specialises in Clinical technology designed to improve the co-ordination of patient care in health care environments.
You will be providing expert professional advice and support to managers and staff on all aspects of people management. Your responsibilities will include processing employee data, updating company policy and assisting in the recruitment process.
This is a 12 Month FTC (Maternity Cover) Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 5:30pm.
Hybrid Working - Flexible Options Available

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Working with senior and line managers and providing them with guidance and support on HR activities (including policies and procedures, terms and conditions of employment, absence management, performance management etc.), to ensure a consistent and fair approach.
- Being the first point of contact for all human resources related queries.
- Active involvement in the recruitment process including providing support to managers throughout the process.
- Planning and delivering training, including the inductions of new staff.
- In conjunction with the MD, monitor and review the system of appraisal, ensuring that annual appraisals are carried out in a timely manner and followed up.
- Monitor sickness and absence levels and provide monthly management reports to the MD.
- Manage the information held in the HR library on Share point and personnel files to ensure it is updated in a timely and accurate manner and complies with any legal or data protection policies.
- Manage maternity leave administration and flexible working requests.
- Manage the Health and Safety aspects of all offices.
- Manage the Fire Safety aspects of all offices.
- To undertake other tasks as agreed with the MD.

Key Characteristics:

- Strong HR skills to guide and motivate teams.
- Excellent organisational skills to balance and prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work on initiative with limited supervision.
- Flexibility.

Education & Experience:

- Degree level or above.
- Chartered Member of the Institute of Personnel and Development - (desirable).
- 2-3 year’s generalist HR experience.

In return:

- £28,000 - £33,000 Per Annum
- Hybrid Working
