**The Role**:
The role will be responsible for supporting the UK based procurement functions including making sure that our suppliers comply with various company and trade compliance requirements for supplying parts and services to various sites across Northern Ireland, Great Britain, and the Republic of Ireland.

He/she will work closely with The Corporate Trade and Customs Organization to communicate and manage import and export requirements supplies.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Work with suppliers to communicate all applicable requirements for shipping parts and components to any of the MP manufacturing sites in Northern Ireland, Great Britain, and the Republic of Ireland.

Monitor supplier performance against our requirements and work with suppliers to resolve any deficiencies

Ensure that suppliers provide shipping paperwork that meets minimum company requirements needed for import declarations through CDS (Customs Declaration Service) or alternative third-party partners.

Help coordinate solicitation of required supplier paperwork (compliant invoices, Long Term Supplier Declarations) needed to close open backlog of supplementary declarations through TSS.

Manage supplier solicitation for Long Term Supplier Declarations and log responses into a centralised database to enable the Finance organisation to perform qualification calculations necessary to issue EUR1 certificates for The Company’s equipment manufactured in Northern Ireland, the UK, and the Republic of Ireland.

Share receipts and supplier declaration information with a 3rd party customs broker to close the outstanding backlog of supplementary declarations already filed.

**Required Skills and Experience**:
Ideally we would need someone who has:
(a) good analytical skills

(b) good to advanced excel skills

(c) proven organizational skills.

Trade compliance is desirable, but not essential.

**Preferred Skills and Experience**:
Basic understanding of trade compliance requirements applicable to importing goods into Northern Ireland is beneficial but specific training will be given

Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and MS Access.

Experience working in a multidimensional environment to achieve common objectives

Experience managing partner performance
