**Job Title**: Project Manager **Location**: Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire **Duration**: Permanent **Salary**: £35,000-£45,000 per annum (DOE) We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to work within the Rail industry for a permanent position based in Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire. **Rail background is not essential, however must have understanding of "Life Cycle Processors"** **Key Duties & Responsibilities**: - Project Management of B classification projects, multiple C classification projects or supporting the Lead Project Management on A classification projects. - Safety, Project/Contract & Claim Management, Function Interfaces, Customer Interfaces, Project Execution, Project/Portfolio Performance & Governance, Project Management Talent, Processes & Network. - Responsible for project and contract management. - Responsible for project claims. - Responsible for the project execution as per contractual obligations & stakeholder commitments. - Responsible as the escalation point for all critical execution topics. - Responsible for completion of Gate Reviews working in-line with Customer Milestones. - Contributing to the Product Line bid preparation & approval process / hand-over process as required. - Responsible for the performance (Technical, Operational & Financials) and escalation on critical topics. - Responsible for the core team governance, routines, meetings, reviews, cash/sales management & contract margin improvement. - Responsible for the implementation of the UK Group project management processes and tools. - Informed on the product line project management networking. - Adhere at all times to the Health, Safety & Environmental instructions, and requirements. - Adhere at all times to the company's values. - Take on any other responsibilities or tasks that are within employee's skills and abilities. **Key KPI's**: - Contract On-Time Delivery (C-OTD). - Contract Documentation Requirements List (CDRL) On-Time Delivery (CDRL-OTD). - Project Gate Reviews OTD (GR-OTD). - EAC Contract Margin Evolution. **Requirements**: - Must be PRINCE2 or APM qualified. - Project Management experience. - Knowledge of key project management principles including programme, change, risk management and business acumen. - Commercial/legal awareness. - Ability to efficiently organise workload. - Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team. - Fusion People are committed to promoting equal opportunities to people regardless of age, gender, religion, belief, race, sexuality or disability.
