The Payments Executive will be involved in a multi-faceted banking environment, managing payment processes domestically in the UK and internationally to and from the GCC across our full range of Sharia compliant products. You will be involved in the dayto day running of the card scheme and processing card transactions as well as building knowledge of the payments industry as a whole. **Client Details** The financial services client based in the City of London is a digital bank which is run in a fully Sharia'a compliant and ethical way. **Description** The key duties the Payments Executive will be asked to carry out are: - Ensure that PDA changes are actioned. - Ensure archiving of matured deals/customer files are boxed and recorded correctly. - Ensure new CIF's / amendments / limits are completed and all legal documents recorded and filed. - Ensure Private Banking and Banking outgoing payments are processed in a timely manner. - Ensure that Private Banking and Banking incoming payments are credited to correct account and relevant people notified. - Ensure Banking/PCS transactions are processed. - Ensure FX deals are processed. - Ensure Islamic placements and deposits are processed. - Monitoring incoming and outgoing funds. - NOSTRO transfers. **Profile** The pre-requisites for the Payments Executive role are as follows: - Experience working with all UK domestic payment schemes - Experience working with international payment schemes, such as SWIFT and Chaps - Card processing or management experience and experience with Card service providers - The ability to work with clear, focused deadlines - Understanding of the need for accurate MI reporting and ability to review/update. - Experience acting as an L1 / L2 reviewer of transaction screening flags - Organised and strong attention to detail with a positive approach to challenges - Strong communicator and enjoy working collaboratively with your core team and wider stakeholders - Adaptable and flexible - we work in a fast-paced environment - Experience in working in a multi-vendor environment is desirable - across the bank we work with multiple platforms to deliver outcomes - Appreciation for the complexities of working in a regulated, Sharia compliant environment and willing to work collaboratively with "Second Line of Defence" - Desirable experience: **Job Offer** £40,000-£45,000 salary plus bonus and full benefits package Excellent culture, support, training and development
