- To support student enquiries to the Careers Service, signposting students to suitable information resources or best-placed advisor, ensuring that the Service and employability activities are resourced effectively. Deliver 1:1 information and guidance that is appropriate to the scope of this role and to promote the services on offer.**Key Responsibilities**
- Support students completing internships by managing the administration of the Advance Practice programme
- Help students to access and make the best use of careers resources, using effective listening and questioning skills in order to accurately diagnose each student’s need
- Analyse and interpret student data, producing monthly reports for the Head of Careers
- Deliver student activities such as workshops and induction events that are relevant to the scope of this role and the promotion of the Service to the student population and faculty members

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- IT skills in order to create and search databases, design for the web, manage the content of Internets and intranets, etc
- Well-developed research skills
- Attention to detail
- Initiative and a creative approach to problem solving
- Customer service skills and commercial awareness
- A willingness to keep up to date with advances in technology and social media- Knowledge of graduate recruitment trends and local employment opportunities.
- A qualification in information and guidance will be an advantage, though opportunities for training will be provided. (QCF Level 6 Diploma in career guidance and development)**Our Benefits**
