Role Overview

The Financial Advisor will provide holistic financial advice to both new and existing clients, covering areas including investments, pensions, retirement planning, protection, estate planning, and tax-efficient strategies. You will manage client relationships, conduct thorough fact-finds, and produce tailored financial plans in line with regulatory requirements.

This position offers hybrid working, with a blend of office-based days in Canary Wharf and remote working for flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive financial planning solutions to clients across a wide range of products.
  • Conduct fact-find meetings, assess client needs, and provide compliant recommendations.
  • Manage and develop your own client portfolio, nurturing long-term relationships.
  • Work closely with our paraplanning and administrative team to ensure smooth case progression.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments.
  • Maintain high ethical standards and ensure full FCA compliance at all times.

Requirements

  • Minimum Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS or equivalent) – essential.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Advisor or Wealth Manager.
  • Strong understanding of investment, pension, and protection products.
  • Excellent communication, rapport-building, and presentation skills.
  • High level of integrity and client-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated with the drive to grow a successful client base.
