We have an excellent opportunity for an Insight and Optimisation Specialist to join us at Hastings Direct. It's an exciting time for growth in the Insight and Optimisation team as we're expanding our optimisation activity for multiple channels includingthe new digital business channel, customer channels and our brand-new Digital Renewals journey.
Working closely with key stakeholders across the business to ensure that the strategy is executed correctly to drive improvements and growth for our online journeys, specifically focused on engagement, conversion rates, income per policy and overall customerinsight into user behaviour.
The goal will be to support the growth of the Optimisation capabilities of Hastings looking at how to effectively run an 'always on' experimentation process, with consistent learnings and next steps implemented.
Working in a hybrid working model, we expect you will be in our London - Cannon Street office 1 day a week, depending on business/team requirements.
**How you will make a difference**:
- Working for the Optimisation team in Digital New Business you will assist in delivering the strategy, KPIs and business objectives.
- Own the end-to-end delivery in experimentation, including prioritisation, managing the Optimisation Roadmap, requirements gathering, test briefing & sign-off processes with key stakeholders, measurement and next step recommendations.
- Conducting regular competitor analysis and insights, staying abreast of industry best practice.
- Driving the continuous process improvement of our processes covering insight-driven ideation, business prioritisation, customer centric UX execution, robust build and QA processes and reporting, analysis and communications.
- Ensure that all tests that go live are fully approved by all agreed parties and that the tests are built robustly to protect the performance of our key digital new business channel.
- In addition to our core Optimisation programme, you will support the development and delivery of new propositions, Growth Products and MVPs to our customer base.
**What we're looking for**:
- Experience working in optimisation and experimentation with a proven track record of commercial success working in a high-volume ecommerce business.
- Hands-on experience of using one or more AB testing platforms - e.g., Monetate, Optimizely etc. Experience of client-side testing is essential and server-side testing is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of web analytics preferably GA 360.
- Good knowledge of CX platforms - e.g., Content Square, Usabilla, SurveyMonkey etc.
- A sound understanding of the statistical methods behind effective testing.
- Experience in user experience design and website content.
- An experienced, data-driven digital / digital marketing professional focused on evaluating qual and quant data and turning this into conversion-centric digital strategies and online experiences.
- Experience in a high volume, fast-paced ecommerce trading environment.
