Part Time Practice Accountant

- £30,000-40,000 FTE
A highly respected and professional business based in the Black Country is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic part time Practice Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who is looking to wind downtheir hours or someone looking for part time work to fit around their lifestyle. You will be responsible for the preparation of working papers and annual accounts for sole traders and owner managed SMEs.
Ideally you will;
- Have previous similar experience from a general practice background
- Have strong experience of preparing statutory accounts, processing journals, finalising accounts and preparing tax returns
- Have prior experience of reviewing VAT returns and submissions and ensuring compliance with HMRC
- Have excellent written and oral communication skills, be confident using Microsoft Office, and ideally have previous experience using a cloud-based system such as Xero
- Be fully qualified or be QBE
In return you will;
- Work on a part time basis (2-3 days a week)

Be able to work on a flexible, hybrid basis, with remote working for much of the month being an option
