**Contracts Manager - Supply Chain**

Immediate start and Interviews

£35k - £45k

Based near Guildford, Surrey

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Contracts Manager to join a Design, Development and Engineering team.

**Responsibilities**:

- You will be principally accountable for the drafting/ populating the supplier contracts, including ongoing administration and tracking of the contracts and key deliverables
- The role will also be accountable for the creation of the schedules which make up the specification attached to the contracts, this will involve close liaison with the procurement department, as well as the engineering department.

**You will**:

- draft, review and negotiate supply chain agreements and owning the process of contract creation, including legal and commercial terms
- own the administration of supplier schedules, including automotive, commercial, mechanical and financial information
- track agreements and monitor compliance to the terms
- updating in life contracts where required by the change process
- report to the General Counsel and Senior Buyer on a regular basis with updates
- develop good working relationships with suppliers
- develop good working relationships with internal departments, including supply chain, engineering, aftersales, finance and project management
- work well independently, under pressure and to time constraints
- understand standard automotive procurement methodologies and work with the procurement department to build supply base

**Experience and Qualifications**:

- Experience of contract creation and basic negotiation and drafting is essential
- Strong skills in administration and preferably post signature contract management
- A good eye for detail
- The ability to work to tight timescales and be efficient with time
- The ability to work either autonomously with often little oversight
- The ability to build relationships and confidence quickly
