Role Description
To support the management of Pilgrims Food Masters revenue and rebates accounting function, working closely with the commercial teams, ensuring revenue and Qlik Sense sales reports are accurately reported. Finance business partner to the marketing team managingmarketing spend, accounting and reporting.
- Manage completion monthly revenue accounting process and reconciliations
- Completion of rebate accounting (LTA's, promotional retros & fees) with a high degree of accuracy and diligence, preparing balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis
- Host monthly rebate business partner meetings with commercial finance/sales teams for relevant business categories.
- Sales reporting: Ensure accuracy of SAP & Qlik Sense sales reporting through weekly sales checks.
- Completion of marketing spend accounting with a high degree of accuracy and diligence, preparing balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis.
- Host monthly marketing business partner meetings with the marketing teams for relevant brands
- Year end: Support the Revenue Accounting Finance Manager in leading the year-end process, compiling the timetable, rebate & marketing spend audit files in line with PFM requirements and responding to audit requests
- Functional excellence: Promote and embrace a culture of continuous improvement and continually develop cross-functional network
- Act as a relationship manager for the Revenue Accounting team interfacing with the relevant business teams.
Skills and Experience
ACCA or CIMA qualified Accountant with strong interpersonal skills and able to deliver to deadlines. You possess sound numerical skills, enjoy getting into the detail and be a logical thinker with a continuous improvement mindset. SAP GL experience and strongExcel skills are essential for this role and Microsoft Power BI would be advantageous, as would previous revenue accounting experience.
