RECRA is working in partnership with a recycling company based in Swadlincote. We are looking for a Mobile Plant Fitter to join their team.

**Overview**:

- To maintain the mobile Plant equipment.
- Measured by: Speed and success of defect repairs.
- The success of early detection and correction of issues.
- Minimizing cost of maintenance.

**Job Details**:

- Mobile Plant Fitter (FT Permanent Role)
- Hours: Must be flexible on hours but the standard will be 7 am - 5 pm Mon / Fri with every other Saturday morning required.

**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:

- Being responsible for Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) actions. Mobile plant - forklift trucks, material re-handlers, loading shovels, telehandlers and shredders, checks and defect reporting/correction o Audits of operational status by walk-around checks.
- Ensuring PPM documentation is completed as required.
- Finding and fixing faults.
- Daily liaison with other members of the site teams to provide information and ensure they are aware of any issues.
- Helping maintain the store of production/safety critical spare parts.
- Replacing worn parts and re-setting instrument controls.
- Responding to emergency breakdowns.
- Good level of general, practical maintenance skills in hydraulic, diesel engine, and ADR / Adblue faults.
- Communicate and provide information on your work activities to the plant supervisor.
- Reporting any deficiencies or difficulties to your manager and developing long-term corrections.
- To undertake any other reasonable task as instructed. Personal Profile.
- Able to work on own initiative with rapid, clear decision-making.
- Total flexibility & someone keen to learn/progress/muck in.
- Tenacious, resilient, rapid problem solver.
- Good oral communication and written note-keeping.
- Team layer and able to follow verbal instructions.
- Methodical and concise in ensuring the PPMS is complete.
