A leading Medical Communications Agency with multiple locations in the North West, is looking to add a Senior Editorial Assistant to its team.
The role will be hybrid, with some days in the office - whichever location is easier for you to get to.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Work collaboratively with internal team members for efficient delivery of project work
- Prioritise own workload to ensure projects are delivered to internal and external deadlines
- Work with the project team and writers to develop and update timelines, as required
- Understand how projects are costed and deliver tasks to budget
- Work with wider account team members to create and update Hub Planner records and notify the Editing and Studio teams of upcoming delivery peaks
- Identify when copyright permissions are required. Obtain quotes, purchase and advise on copyright wording as appropriate
- Obtain and save down references in both project folders and Zotero databases
- Ensure Datavision, Veeva and other records are maintained accurately and updated in a timely manner; support with report creation and client audits, as required
- Research and compile journal/congress information, timelines and submission requirements (eg instructions for authors) for account/project planning, as required
- Prepare submission packages for abstracts, presentations / digital posters and manuscripts in line with congress and journal specifications
- Ensure shipping/delivery of print items follows company print process through liaison with the Studio Production Lead
If you are confident and capable of doing so - you can also use your skills and experience to take on Editorial responsibilities for slide decks, publications, print materials etc - to ensure house style is maintained and to check for grammatical accuracy and consistency.
You will also be involved in both internally and externally facing project update meetings, and take key responsibilities for ensuring the compliance integrity of multiple projects is assured and consistent, so its likely you’ll be a competent user of Med Comms industry standard database systems such as Datavision.
