*Overview*

The role will predominately look after our Golf Tour Operator business over both our hotel in St Andrews and our sister property The Leddie situated in Aberlady, East Lothian. The role will be based out of the Ardgowan Hotel, St Andrews, the role is a hybrid role working from home and from site in St Andrews.

As a Reservation Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our Operators, assisting them with their booking inquiries and ensuring a seamless reservation experience. Your ability to communicate effectively, will enhance our guests' experiences and contribute to our reputation for outstanding service.

*Responsibilities*
- Provide detailed information about hotel services, room types, rates, and availability.
- Assist Tour Operators in making reservations and modifications to existing bookings while ensuring accuracy.
- Maintain an organised record of reservations and cancellations in the system.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues related to bookings or services promptly.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest preferences are met during their stay.
- Stay updated on hotel promotions, packages, and local attractions to provide informed recommendations.
- Uphold excellent phone etiquette while communicating with guests from diverse backgrounds.

*Requirements*
- Previous experience in a customer service role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with reservation systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A genuine passion for guest services and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
