We are looking for a friendly, organised and energetic **Events Coordinator** to join our team to support our growing operations in the South-West London areas. This role reports directly to the Operations Manager and is ideal for individuals eager to start or develop a career in operations or events coordination. Whether you're an experienced professional or a recent graduate, this position offers a fantastic opportunity to build up experience in the science communication and educational events childcare sector. **Responsibilities**: As an **Events Coordinator**, you will play a key role in managing and organising our daily operations. Your responsibilities will include: - Training and quality control of MNS field staff to ensure a high standard is always maintained. - Proactively liaising with parents and schools for successful delivery for our services. - Update essential operational data and maintaining accuracy of controlled documents to ensure smooth processes. - Covering in-person delivery of MNS events across South-West London area when necessary. - Working together with the stock’s admin and supporting the Operations Manager to achieve an efficient operation. - While your regular place of work is in our HQ (NW9 9BW), you are required to travel to our South-West London office (KT3 3ST) regularly, minimum one day a week, to perform various necessary duties on-site. Travel costs will be fully reimbursed. **About You**: We are looking for an Events Coordinator with the following qualities: - Friendly, energetic, and professional demeanour with excellent telephone and interpersonal communication skills (both verbal and written). - Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple events whilst maintaining a calm disposition under pressure. - Must hold a UK driving license and have access to a car. - While no prior experience is required as full training is provided, some background in operations administration or events coordination is a plus. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel, is desirable. - Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check. **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Graduate **Benefits**: - Company events - Company pension - On-site parking Schedule: - Monday to Friday **Education**: - Bachelor's (required) **Experience**: - Administrative: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: - Driving Licence (required) Work Location: In person Application deadline: 15/11/2024 Expected start date: 07/01/2025
