Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Assistant to join our busy Venues team for a fixed term period of 1 year.

Our venues are available to hire for meetings, conferences, events and weddings. Working across all three locations, you will play an active part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the team’s activities.

The role will include setting up rooms, serving pre-made refreshments, clearing away after events and maintaining the security and safety of the building and occupants.

You will also work closely with customers, dealing with enquiries and bookings, identifying needs and building relationships.

You will need to have experience of customer service, good organisational and problem solving skills, awareness of health and safety and preferably basic maintenance.

Experience of venue and event support is also desirable, with an ability to communicate effectively and work well as part of a team. You will need to be able work to tight deadlines and be flexible to ensure that service objectives are consistently achieved. The role will involve some evening and weekend working on a rota basis.

This is a great opportunity to be involved in the operation of our busy venues across Braintree. You will be working in a small but customer focussed team who are passionate about what they do.
