- Salary £20,895 per annum (within NHS Band 4)
- Hours Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 4:30pm (Tuesday until 5:30pm), 34.75 hours per week
- Annual Leave 44 days paid holiday + bank holidays

Role:

- You will be working with children aged from 4 to 19 who, although have varying needs, are all diagnosed with ASD. This will give you broad experience in autism, the challenges this arise, and the interventions adopted to overcome them.
- As a Senior Therapy Assistant, you will help to support pupils' achievements and progress using a variety of strategies and interventions, combined with research-driven behavioural theories to deliver exceptional support to our pupils and their families
- This is a varied role combining resource creation and delivery of sessions to address the complex communication, motor and sensory needs of our pupils

- Attention Autism and PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) Training

- Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction
- Organisational Behaviour Management Accreditation (developing team cohesion and leadership skills)
- Behavioural analysis and accredited qualifications within the field
- Education Experience - Using a range of curriculums tailored with an individualised approach for each pupil, providing a deep understanding of the different learning techniques used in the education system

**Requirements**:

- Experience or qualifications related to one of the therapeutic fields (e.g. Linguistics, Sports and Exercise Science, Psychology, Early Years Education) or proven experience supporting Occupational and Speech & Language Therapy
- Demonstrable experience working with behaviours that challenge
- Proven ability to keep accurate records and reports
- Minimum Grade C/4 in English GCSE/ equivalent
- Due to our location, own transport is essential
