**About The Role**

This is a term time only role and we are open to flexibility. If you wish to work part time, we are open to discussion and will be prepared to seriously consider part time requests. The salary range for this role is based on 37 hours per week, 52 weeks ayear. In practice, full time therapist hours are compressed into term time only working (plus 5 in-service training days each academic year).

As well as delivering therapy, you will manage and prioritise some caseloads and enjoy building good working relationships with our students, their families and your colleagues. You will be a part of a friendly, busy, multidisciplinary therapies team thatincludes therapy assistants as well as therapists in speech and language, music, art and drama.

Your role will include some supervision and monitoring of programmes delivered by our Therapy Assistants.Our team do spend some time in the classrooms as part of our successful approach to delivering some therapy while working in tandem with our educationteam.

Opportunities for specialist training and up-dating are regularly available. If you are recruited, you will be required to complete Team Teach positive behaviour support training as part of your induction before employment.

St Joseph’s Specialist Trust is a Special School, College, Children’s Home and Adult Supported Living Houses with 300 staff contributing to having a positive influence on the lives, communication and wellbeing of children and young people with special needs.Our 70 students are aged 5 to 19 and have needs that include autism, language and communication disorders, ADHD, severe and complex learning difficulties and challenging behaviour.
