Asda Technology are looking for a number of programme support officers with a solid background of working on large complex transformation projects. This is truly a ‘once in a career' opportunity

Future' is the name for the programme that will see Asda create their new operating model, independent from Walmart. Technology will undoubtedly be one of the most ambitious parts of this work - the technology decisions made will underpin the way the entire business will operate in the future.

**Please note this is an 18-month secondment / fixed term position, but a high percentage of our fixed term colleagues secure permanent **opportunities** along the way**

**Your Role**
- Accountable for producing reports, slide packs and keeping the Tower share-point site up to date.
- Providing comprehensive support to the Future Programme Teams including administration of briefings, meetings and other team related matters.
- Provide comprehensive support to Future projects and programmes, developing and maintaining project milestone plans, preparing agendas and minutes and co-ordinating steering group updates.
- Responsible for managing purchase orders, invoices, and receipting in SAP, in line with agreed Finance and People team procedures, on behalf of the Programme Teams.
- Assisting project managers with keeping the Financial Management Tool updated with actuals
- Attending meetings to take notes, capture actions and follow up on overdue actions
- Work alongside project managers to ensure risks, issues and decisions are logged correctly
- Ensuring programmes and projects governance is always up to date and raising any issues with project managers

**About you**
- Previous administrative experience and knowledge of office systems and procedures, ideally gained in a project based environment
- Experience of organising meetings, events or other activities.
- Experience of project lifecycles and governance
- Ideally experience of SAP finance
- Excellent written skills, with the ability to accurately summarise and convey complex information.
- Excellent oral and influencing skills, with the ability to give support on processes
- Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal with colleagues, suppliers and third parties with courtesy, tact and sensitivity
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines, and a concern for order and accuracy
- Excellent IT skills, including Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint with the ability quickly to learn new packages as required
- Ability to work as part of a team and to support others.
