Programme Support Administrator

The Programme Support Administrator sits within the Primary Care Directorate of the Yorkshire and Humber Postgraduate Deanery. The D eanery provides leadership for Postgraduate Medical and Dental education and training across the region.
**The Deanery's core purpose is to**:
Deliver Postgraduate Medical and Dental education.
Assure and manage the quality and improvement of education and training, meeting regulator standards.
Deliver statutory responsibilities defined by the Medical and Dental Act including acting as Responsible Officer for Doctors in Training
Provide clinical and professional leadership to education and training policy, regulations, standards, reform and delivery.
Assure the quality and improvement of education and training.
Focus on addressing the gaps in the workforce across medical roles, professions, healthcare pathways and geographies through education and training.
Deliver and co-ordinate of nationwide commissioned, education and training programmes.
Recruit, manage and distribute education and training that requires nationwide delivery, coordination and oversight.
Maximise the use of digital, technology and innovation in the delivery of education and training.
Primary Care supports postgraduate doctors in a General Practice Training Programme across the Yorkshire and Humber region.
Coordinating and managing the annual reviews and placements for our Postgraduate Doctors in training.
Maintaining our records and databases to ensure our data is accurate.
Assisting our postgraduate doctors with queries and issues.
Providing support for our faculty and postgraduate doctors.
Arranging and attending school events.
To manage financial processes and follow established procedures to maintain robust financial records.

This position is offered as a hybrid arrangement with two days per week working in our Blenheim House office in Leeds.

Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person.
We are looking for an organised and enthusiastic professional with demonstrable initiative and proven competence in self-management, organisation, prioritisation and collaborative working within a team. To excel in this role, excellent communication and a customer-oriented approach are required.
An understanding of working in the NHS, robust attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approach, is e ssential. Support to develop existing skills will be provided. A comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Outlook and Excel will be required when recording and manipulating data, managing communications and organising meetings.
