**Office Administrator and HR Coordinator**

**Salary**: £25,000 - £27,000 per annum (dependant on experience)

Hours: 40 hours per week

Kent Gurkha Company are currently looking to recruit an Office Administrator and HR Coordinator for their head office in Maidstone in Kent.

Joining a small but busy team, you will be responsible for recruiting new staff, managing the growing workforce and offer support to manage the customer contracts. Key duties will be:

- Acting as the first point of contact for enquiries
- Arranging and supporting client meetings
- Typing up site inspection reports, minutes of meetings and other information
- Supporting Management in day to day operations
- Placing stock orders with suppliers
- Advertise vacancies on internet portals
- Reviewing and shortlisting applicants
- Conducting initial telephone interviews
- Arranging and conducting interviews with applicants by Zoom or face to face
- Carrying out new employee inductions
- Compliance checking - applicants’ identity and eligibility
- Maintaining employee files and records
- Preparing and updating employee contracts
- Collating and reviewing weekly and monthly timesheets
- Arranging and supporting staff training programmes
- Helping to arrange short-term cover for staff absences
- Ad-hoc duties to support the running of the business

Skills and Personal Attributes:

- Able to work in a small but busy office environment
- A flexible team player who is willing to support the managers with various tasks
- Strong communication skills, and able to deal with people from diverse backgrounds
- Good spoken and written English language skills
- Strong administration skills and attention to detail

A clean driving licence is essential as you will be required to attend various sites for staff inductions.
