**Permanent Front of House Team Member | Busy Takeaway Counter**

**We are seeking an enthusiastic, confident, and reliable Front of House Team Member to join our busy permanent team. This is a critical customer-facing role ensuring smooth operations at our takeaway counter.**

The Role: Customer Service & Operations

You will be the face of our takeaway, managing the flow of orders and ensuring customers receive their food efficiently and with a smile. Key duties include:

- **Order Management**: Confidently take and accurately process customer orders at the counter.
- **Service Delivery**: Wrap, plate, and serve prepared food quickly and courteously.
- **Payment Handling**: Process payments accurately using the POS system.
- **Team Support**: Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when required.
- **Customer Engagement**: Provide exceptional customer service, managing queues and handling queries with a cheerful disposition.
- **Hygiene & Cleanliness**: Participate fully in general and end-of-shift cleaning duties to maintain a pristine environment.

What We Are Looking For:

- **Personality**: A naturally **confident** person with an exceptionally good, **cheerful disposition** who thrives on interaction.
- **Interpersonal Skills**: Excellent ability to engage positively with the public and work seamlessly as part of a team.
- **Experience (Ideal)**: Proven front-of-house experience within a fast-paced hospitality or takeaway setting is highly desirable.
- **Reliability**: Ability to provide **two strong references** from your most recent employers.
- **Work Ethic**: Must enjoy working with the public and understand the fast-paced demands of a busy environment.

Position Details:

- **Contract**: Full-Time, Permanent.
- **Schedule**: 5 days out of 7, including required **evenings and weekends**.
- **Hours**: Consistent work throughout term time and school holidays.
