**Job overview**:
An opportunity has arisen to join the Hospital Administration Team at Falmouth Community Hospital.

The post is for 22.5 hours per week and will on a variable shift pattern, this will include long day shifts, weekends and bank holidays to meet service need.

The Falmouth Hospital administration team provides support to the main Hospital Reception, Outpatient Reception, Minor Injury Unit Reception, Inpatient Ward, Day Hospital and the Clinic preparation.

Previous experience working in reception and administration is essential. Training and support will be given to the successful applicant.

A uniform will be provided.

**Main duties of the job**:

- To provide full clerical support to various key functions within the hospital setting and/or clinical team.
- Assist in the continuity of service by working from reception on a rotational basis. Be the first point of
- contact for all patients, visitors and members of the public attending the hospital / clinic and ensure
- they are fully assisted as required.
- To provide administrative functions within a hospital or clinical team setting, supporting a range of
- services which could include:
- In-patient
- Day Hospital
- Out-patient
- Minor Injuries Unit
- X-ray Department
- A range of clinical teams
- Therapy Services
- External Partner organisations
