**About the job**

Working as the Finance Business Partner role for Aviation you will be the bridge between finance and the wider business, supporting both the commercial and operational teams. You need to have experience in a labour intensive business ideally Aviation or Industries Logistics, Facilities Services and Transport.

Building sound relationships with key internal stakeholders, whilst gaining an understanding of the management information will be essential to maximize business opportunities and profitability. You will work closely with senior management throughout the business and have the opportunity to influence decision making at all levels.

**Responsibilities include**
- Taking the lead on budgeting and forecasting for aviation business
- Building and maintaining a strong relationship between finance and the wider business inclusive of external stakeholders
- Working closely with the Commercial team, taking the lead on all pricing models ensuring the desired outcomes are clearly defined and communicated
- Working with the business leaders and other internal stake holders to assist their understanding and translate business opportunities and risks in a succinct and articulate way
- Implementing KPIs and develop reporting methods to communicate relevant management information such as trends
- Month end duties and compiling P&Ls
- Taking the lead on maintaining and developing of daily trackers to monitor the key business matrix for revenue, labour percentage, variable gross profit percentage, EBITDA and external profit
- Collating and maintain operational data for all parts of the Aviation Business.
- Providing analysis and recommendations on key ratios of the business.
- Monitoring and report on the profitability of existing contracts measuring outcomes against known expectations
- Producing management reports on a regular and ad-hoc basis as required
- Providing specific analysis in respect of the consolidated payroll report and any payroll trends.
- Supporting the head office finance team where required with elements such as month end reporting
- Producing QBR’s and analysis of the various board reports
- Encouraging and support innovation throughout the business

**Essential experience and skills**
- Proven track record in operational finance
- Advanced Excel and sound experience of finance systems, Hyperian, Oracle, SAP
- Excellent communication skills both written and spoken English
