Attivo is looking to recruit several Trainee Financial Planners in various locations due to an exciting period of expansion. This is an intensive training programme, during which you will be taught all the skills required to become a successful Financial Planner including carrying out the advice process, building client relationships, and influencing and negotiation skills.

Training will also include time within our Paraplanning team, giving you a well-rounded education in Financial Planning. Following completion of the training programme, you will begin your career as a Financial Planner with Attivo Financial Planning. This is a salaried role and all clients are provided, making it a fantastic opportunity to become a member of our team and develop your career.

We provide our advice and service through Attivo Financial Planning, one of the very few genuinely Independent, Chartered, Occupational Pension Specialist, financial planning firms in the UK. We aim to deliver the most professional, technically competent, independent advice and service to our clients. **Main responsibilities**
- Meet with new and acquired clients to assist with the on-boarding process. Attend meetings to integrate clients and understand their individual requirements as well as manage the next stages as their point of contact
- As the first point of contact for many clients, understand their circumstances and requirements, and articulate how we can help satisfy their often-complex needs with appropriate advice or services
- Carry out fact finding and risk assessments to assist Financial Planners for their 1st meeting with new and acquired clients
- Collate, process and monitor the required documentation to ensure client is successfully integrated and that the Financial Planner and client are prepared for Financial Planning meetings
- Qualify and monitor new business opportunities to generate new private and corporate clients for the Group, using existing relationships and connections
- Attend events and contact targeted businesses
- Help internal stakeholders to understand prospective client’s circumstances, requirements and personalities, in order to increase client retention
- Maintain good relationships with vendors who have sold their business to Attivo Financial Planning
- Update and maintain client records in our back office and provider systems

**Qualifications, skills and experience**
- Minimum 5 GCSEs graded A-B, or equivalent, including Maths and English
- Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (R01-R06)
- Ideally experience in a client facing role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure with a high level of accuracy
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Good organisational, time management, and caseload management skills
- Ability to work on own initiative, sometimes for long time periods
- Professional, ethical and discreet
- Ability to build and maintain ongoing client relationships
- Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail
- A full driving licence
- Educated to degree level would be an advantage

**Salary and benefits**

£35,000 to £40,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
