Join us as a Finance Stress Test Business Partner
- Joining our Scenario Income and Balance Sheet Forecasting Team, you’ll be responsible for producing all Finance P&L and balance sheet related stress testing requirements, including all regulatory and internal requirements
- You’ll ensure that appropriate review, analysis, and governance and sign-off is in place and manage the relationship between Finance and the NatWest Markets franchise
- This role will give you great exposure, as you act as our Finance stress testing expert, attending and presenting at senior committees

What you'll do

As a Finance Stress Test Business Partner, you’ll be working with Risk, Finance and Product teams to deliver modelled scenario forecasts, including regulatory stress tests and ad hoc reforecasts to support board decision making. You’ll also be helping to produce stress deliverables to the PRA and EBA, including STDF, EBA and ICAAP, as part of the annual and biennial stress reporting requirements, and delivering ad hoc scenarios and reforecasts as needed.

In addition, you’ll be supporting the on-going delivery of new Top-Down Scenario Modelling capabilities, enhancing the current capability, and implementing those new approaches into BAU processes where applicable.

You’ll also be:

- Managing the production of detailed scenario analysis packs for submission to senior franchise stakeholders
- Leading the interpretation and validation of stress scenario metrics for use in the finance stress testing model
- Implementing changes to the ICAAP, stress testing and economic capital frameworks through regulatory change
- Reporting meaningful stress tests, which provide insight to senior management and the executive committee regarding the current trajectory of the strategy
- Documenting and coordinating all the inputs into the ICAAP and stress testing reports, frameworks and polices

The skills you'll need

We’re looking for someone with a CA, ACCA, CIMA, MBA qualification or equivalent, and financial services and business partnering experience. You’ll also need a minimum degree level qualification in a finance, treasury or a risk related field. You’ll have detailed knowledge and experience of traded or capital markets and the ability to develop new visualisations and dashboards.

Additionally, you’ll demonstrate excellent analytical and problem skills with the ability to clearly package and present complex, technical information. Experience in capital management, risk management or financial planning will be ideal as will be knowledge of ICAAP and stress testing related regulations and guidelines.

We’ll also look for you to have:

- Expertise in stress testing related regulations
- A background of working in financial markets with demonstrable knowledge of derivatives exposures and leverage
- Experience of managing and developing direct reports
- Sound decision making skills and the ability to exercise good judgement under pressure while looking forward and identifying the possibility of any risks
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
