Reassured Ltd is the largest non-advised life insurance intermediary in the UK with established locations in Basingstoke, Portsmouth, Southampton, Manchester, Bristol, Bournemouth and Chester.
We launched our new Advised business offering in 2021 and continue to grow our sales and support teams across the entire business this year. We arrange over 15,000 new customer life insurance policies per month with leading sales conversions and customer satisfaction metrics. The business is outbound, B2C sales from internet generated customer enquiries.
**Job Description**:
**£22,000 - £26,000 DOE**
The role of the People Administration Assistant is to progress all HR administration and transactional activities including the onboarding of new employees, maintenance of personnel records and general business changes, working closely with recruitment, L&D and People Partners. They will also be responsible for updating PeopleHR system in line with HR and Business requirements.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist with set up of new starters on PeopleHR system and maintenance of employee records folders
- Keeping the SM&CR tracker updated as and when required for both recruitment and annual fitness & propriety checks, ensuring all required documentation has been received and uploaded.
- Ensure all offers, contracts and new starter documents are in place, ensuring accuracy of information.
- Maintain the New Starter tracker ensuring it is up to date at all times, highlighting and dealing with any issues.
- Follow-up financial probity, address and DBS checks as required for employees in accordance with company requirements.
- Liaise with new starters and employees to obtain any additional reference detail or personal information to ensure the new starter packs can be processed for sign off
- Set up Day 1 induction arrangements to support People Partners with new starters onboarding needs
- Ensure the correct right to work paperwork is received for all new starters such as passports, birth certificates and are saved to employee file
- Follow up on employee absences, ensuring all return to work interviews are completed and documents returned to HR to be scanned to employee records
- Provide support with key tasks as and when requested by management and People Partners.
- Responsible for the management of the employee leaver process ensuring all relevant departments are informed and updated.
**Qualifications**:
**Essential Skills**
- Good working knowledge of IT packages including Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
- Excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills and a professional and confident manner
- Experience in a similar HR role and in managing the employee life cyle

**Qualifications**
- CIPD Level 3 preferred but not essential
- Minimum of 1 years experience of working in an administration role
- Minimum education GCSE level or equivalent
