**Procurement Administrator**

**Home Based - 2 days a week in Birmingham**

Our Category Procurement team are looking to hire a Procurement Administrator.

The role will focus on supporting the Waste Category Buying Team. This will cover administration of all aspects of the purchasing, tracking and contracts, as well as managing ad hoc purchase requests from stakeholders within the business. You’ll be part of a wider team of 25 within the procurement team.

**About the role**
- To assist the Waste Category Team within the Indirects Procurement team in the administration of all supplier information and reporting requirements.
- Manage the internal sharepoint system, to ensure all supplier related documents are updated for site audit requirements.
- To communicate the correct PO and recharge detail to the relevant departments and resolve any queries relating to recharges.
- Co-ordinate with the Category Buyer and Category Manager to ensure any ad hoc service requests from the internal stakeholders are reviewed and resolved by the correct suppliers.
- To comply with Procurement policies and procedures
- Provide ad-Hoc analytical data as and when required.
- Ensure necessary administrative tasks are completed for the relevant departmental and business requirements

- Demonstrate the ability to work competently with complex numeric and verbal data, used for analytical work, with attention to detail.
- Have working knowledge and experience of MS Excel & Word
- Experience within an administrative role.
- Be a team player, able to communicate at all levels and to think through problems if they arise.
