An opportunity has arisen for a permanent team secretary to support our highly progressive mental health team here at Upton Lea.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, and resourceful individual to join our team. You should possess a commitment to team working and a desire to deliver excellent standards of work. We aim to provide the highest standards in administrative support services to our colleagues across the west locality to maintain health, safety and, most importantly wellbeing of the people in our area.

We will ensure you have access to career development with regular supervision and appraisal.

The successful applicant will be expected to provide a comprehensive administration service including diary management, undertake typing of correspondence, reports, agenda, and minutes for our Multi-disciplinary and professional’s meetings, using Microsoft teams copy typing.

Receive referrals made to the team and update electronic records.

Liaise with GPs, Social Workers and other agencies responding to queries appropriately ensuring confidentiality at all times.

The applicant will also be expected to be able to organise and prioritise their own workload on a daily basis to ensure that time deadlines are met, and that urgent work is accommodated.

This is a rewarding and varied role occasionally demanding yet being a vital part of our clinical team. The applicant will also be expected to provide cross cover for colleagues as and when required.

CWP provides health and care services for local people, including mental health, learning disability, community physical health and all-age disability care - including the provision of three GP surgeries.

All new clinical support staff will be required to have completed or working towards the Care Certificate (CWP In-house 2 day training to be completed within 6 months of start date).

Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. A small annual fee of £13 per year applies.

New entrants to the NHS will commence on the minimum of the scale stated above.
