We employ approximately 4,900 staff from a very diverse range of professions, and we work across the world; in Germany, Cyprus and the Falkland Islands, Norway, Poland, Kenya, Belize, Nepal and Oman. **About DIO** View our YouTube video to see more about our work **Person specification**: The SSG Accounts Officer will be responsible for supporting the SSG Finance Officers and Managers. This role requires you to liaise frequently with SSG staff, our suppliers, and customers to ensure the organisations business needs are supported. In this finance support role, you will assist with the management and reconciliation of invoices being raised, processing payments, credit control and ensuring appropriate audit trails exist. You will be responsible for reviewing and authorisation of various payments, provide financial approval for requisitions, projects business cases and assist in the preparation of provide management information when requested. Manage the processing of timesheets and timely submission to DBS. This role requires a wide range of financial skills and gives the holder the opportunity to utilise them. In addition to being comfortable working with numbers you will require good communication skills as you will be expected to be in contact with the business area that you are supporting. The post holder may also be required to support other business areas across head office including accounts payable and EPC management.
