**Accountant - Product Accounting**

**Location - Swindon (HYBRID)**

**About the role**

As an Accountant you will be joining an experienced and welcoming team based within Swindon. Reporting to the Finance Manager responsible for Product Accounting, the Accountant will take ownership of a range of products and the associated financials. Fromreconciling and analysing large volumes of data and producing reports for the business to investigating any anomalies and variances; you will ensure all monthly tasks and journals are prepared accurately and posted within strict deadlines.

You will also take ownership for month end closing accounting processes and Balance Sheet reconciliations.

**You will be able to;**
- Evaluate and analyse data and identify anomalies.
- Take part actively in the implementation of new products, including processes and procedures and other related activities.
- Prepare and process internal financial data to comply with company standards.
- Confidently communicate with internal stakeholders.
- Actively investigate and resolve any internal product/process issues.
- Manage and prioritise your own workload and adhere to strict deadlines.
- Take ownership of month end processes and Balance Sheet reconciliations.

**About You**

You will have experience working in a Finance team within a large organisation have a finance qualification or be part qualified. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and will be able to work under pressure as well as be a proactiveteam player.

You will be a highly competent Microsoft Excel user; able to confidently use Pivot Tables, Vlookup's and advanced formulae in your day to day work.

Using your excellent organisational skills, you will manage your workload to ensure deadlines and outcomes achieved. You can absorb information effectively and be confident in your own ability.

**Pay Zone Level B1 with a starting salary of between £30-40K, bonus of up to £1,900 plus fantastic benefits.**
