**Residential Children's & Young People Support Workers** ProSkillz are working in partnership with an OFSTED rated GOOD children’s residential home in the Oswestry area who are looking for unqualified and NVQ 3 qualified Residential Children’s & Young People Support Workers to join their team in a 2 bedded children'shome on a permanent contract. The home is looking for Young People support workers that enjoy encouraging, motivating and caring for young people, as well as maintaining boundaries and identifying any concerns young people face in today’s society. - NVQ 3 or Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent or be willing to work towards the qualification. - previous experience working with children with EBD and/or Learning Disabilities - the ability to work independently and as part of a team, - Support colleagues manage behaviours that may challenge, - Support and participate in young people's social, life-long learning plans and recreational activities in line with care/ support plans, trips out and holidays. - Support Workers are expected to act as a Key worker to specified individual young person, taking on responsibility for specified areas of care and support.
