Stock Controller

We are looking to recruit two **Stock Controllers **for Gourmet Kitchen_,_ to work alongside Production. The role is to accurately manage and control stocks across site, ensuring accuracy in data collated and presented. Analyze data, transactional deficiencies, stock adjusts or amends and provide appropriate reports to management.
**Shifts available**:
- Mon-Fri 13:00-21:30
- Fri-Sun PM hours
**Main duties include (but not limited to)**:
- Perform accurate and adequate stock takes of all factory areas on a daily basis.
- Generate appropriate stock reports to ensure transactional issues and stock deficiencies are highlighted to management.
- Support the Factory and operational team in upskilling of staff in the correct movement of stock.
- Accurately interpret statistics and produce timely, accurate reports / presentations and management information to a professional standard.
- Accuracy of data input and end analysis of results including tracking progress of actions and improvement plans.
- To follow queries and issues found during stocktake through to resolution and put in plans for improvement.
- Ensure wastage of raw materials, packaging and consumables is minimised through appropriate stock identification and rotation.
- To report any equipment defects immediately to the Shift Manager and/or engineers. Equipment is not to be operated if unsafe, all defects to be logged on the appropriate tier boards for further action.
- To assist during internal/external audits as required.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as and when required following consultation between yourself and management.
**Requiremennts and experience**:
- Excellent IT skilles especially Excel.
- Strong attention to details.
- Numerate, analytical and problem-solving skills..
- Independent and able to work on own initiative.
- Able to develop and maintain strong relationships with others, good team player.
- Customer focused - both internal and external customer bases.
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
