**Cotteswold Dairy** are looking for an experienced **Transport Supervisor** to join their team based in **Tewkesbury.** You will be working on a **full-time, permanent basis** and in return, you will receive a **competitive salary plus benefits.**

**Working Hours**: 48 hours per week, 4 nights to include Friday & Saturday

**The Transport Supervisor role**:
Cotteswold Dairy, a long-standing family business with over 80 years’ successful history is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join the Haulage team at the main Tewkesbury depot as a night-time Transport Supervisor. The successful applicantwill have a clean* UK driving licence Category C+E, with experience driving and/or shunting Class 1 and 2 vehicles.

**IMPORTANT - This physically active role involves working nights, and requires manual handling**

**Responsibilities as our Transport Supervisor**:

- To lead, supervise and motivate HGV Drivers, Tanker Drivers, Shunters and Banksmen to ensure operational and departmental goals are met
- Control drivers’ start times and vehicle exit times by planning, organising and utilising resources effectively - ensuring the employee rota is issued, with holiday and sickness covered
- Provide cover for other roles within the Haulage Department when required including banksman and shunter driver
- Collate weekly/monthly transport information and data, and monitoring all vehicle inspection records to ensure compliance with operators’ licence obligations and undertakings

**Skills and attributes, we’re looking for in our Transport Supervisor**:
You will possess excellent interpersonal skills, an eye for detail, strong organisation and IT skills, together with the ability to act confidentially.
