The role of the Warehouse Supervisor is to set a great example for the warehouse team members to follow and learn from.

Responsible for overseeing the general operations of the warehouse and its team members.

**Main Duties & Tasks**
- Organise the team to ensure tasks are carried out and completed efficiently
- Hold regular 1:1 and team meetings & complete annual appraisals
- Monitor warehouse processes and implement improvements accordingly
- Cover Warehouse Operative duties during holiday and absence leave as required
- Ensure safety guidelines, policies & procedures are adhered to by all staff and visitors
- Make sure all mandatory/skills training is up to date
- Report and escalate all accidents, incidents and near misses as required
- Ensure that customer orders are shipped within the agreed time frame to achieve OTIF and PGI targets
- Ensure that mass merchant, and other specific customer requirements are met
- Regularly check & monitor stock inaccuracies. Investigate discrepancies and adjust accordingly
- Manage returns/quarantine and highlight product quality issues
- Assist with organising and carrying out the annual inventory count
- Keep up to date records of shipping, goods in/out, compliance etc and make sure all documents are kept and filed accurately
- Ensure that products are stored correctly and in line with compliance regulations
- Ensure that products are packed and shipped correctly and in line with compliance regulations
- Report any shipment issues promptly to the relevant people
- Ensure all transport, delivery and storage requirements are organised and met
- Organise logistics and transportation of equipment and stock to and from trade shows & event days
- Weekly/monthly reporting of warehouse productivity, shipping errors, PGI rates
- Ensure that all required packaging materials & stationery is ordered as necessary
- Ensure that the warehouse and outside goods in area is kept clean and tidy
- Liaise with warehouse teams in other locations where necessary to share best practices
- Assist with annual audit requirements
- Act as back-up for key supply/planning tasks to cover holidays & absences
- Any other tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager
