Management Accountant

The role looks after the monthly management accounts and month end accounting process for around 15 entities - some of which are holding companies meaning there will be a lot of intercompany transactions. You would have a hands-on approach, liaising with anothermember of staff based overseas.
**Salary and benefits**:
Salary - up to £30,000 DOE plus study support, discretionary bonus, 24 days holiday plus banks rising one day after each complete year up to 29 days, pension matched at 4%, hybrid working, early finish and longer lunch on Friday.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Prepare the management accounts for the Group’s holding entities
- Maintain balance sheet reconciliations alongside monthly management accounts for all holding entities within the
- Group
- Prepare and post journal entries in the Navision accounting system
- Oversee the export of trial balances from Navision and upload data into reporting software in line with the reporting day timetable
- Maintain loan note schedules and record accounting entries on a monthly basis
- Prepare accounting entries for other movements in loan notes and ensure reconciliations are kept up to date
- Prepare monthly consolidation adjustments
- Perform reconciliations and checks on the consolidated Group balance sheet
- Prepare budgets and forecasts for the Group’s holding entities and consolidation entities
- Maintain related party loan interest schedules ensuring accurate amounts are recorded in the relevant entities
- Draft UK subsidiary financial statements under FRS102
- Assist in timely production of year-end audit deliverables for UK subsidiary entities and provide responses to audit requests and queries throughout the audit process

**Experience & Skill Requirements**:
- AAT qualified or early stage CIMA/ACCA qualification
- Strong knowledge of Excel, being able to manipulate data (vlookups, pivot tables etc)
- Preferable to have experience of using Sage 200
- Proactive, willing to learn in the role and find things out whe
- Multi-site experience beneficial
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise work and meet deadlines
- Demonstrate accuracy and pay attention to detail
- Work in a mature, courteous and professional manner
- Strong interpersonal skills - approachable and down to earth with good communication skills
