Management Accountant Location: Altrincham (5 days on-site) Salary: £55,000-£60,000 + onsite parkingRobert Half is partnering with a privately owned international group to recruit a Group Accountant for their Altrincham head office. This is a rare chance to join a dynamic, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.This role offers broad exposure, senior stakeholder interaction, and genuine ability to influence the finance function making it an excellent step for a first-time mover looking to gain hands-on commercial experience within an ambitious group structure.The RoleReporting to the Finance Director, you will work closely with divisional leaders and senior executives, providing high-quality financial information and insight. This is a varied, hands-on role covering all areas of management accounting, reporting and financial control.Responsibilities include:Preparation of monthly management accounts across several group businessesWorking with business leaders to provide commercial insight and support decision-makingProduction of board packs and participation in board meetings over timeEnd-to-end accounting responsibilities including invoice processing, bank reconciliations and reportingPreparation of VAT returnsTracking profitability by project or contractSupporting assessment of new opportunities and acquisitionsShort-term cashflow forecastingAnnual budgeting and forecasting with business leadersYear-end accounts preparation in conjunction with external auditorsDeveloping and presenting KPIs to drive performanceGross profit analysis and wider ad-hoc projects as the group continues to growAbout YouWe're looking for someone who brings energy, curiosity and a proactive mindset.
