**Apprentice IT Administrator**
Starting salary: £10,200 - increases after the 1st year
FDS has a number of exciting Apprentice opportunities within a number of our major accounts.
As part of FDS apprentice programme you will be enrolled on a Microsoft Data Essentials Level 3 Apprentice programme which includes a Microsoft Excel certification.
The FDS apprentice programme runs for a twenty-four-month period with a genuine opportunity to secure a permanent role within FDS or DXC upon its successful conclusion.
Hours of work Monday to Friday between 08:00-18:00 37.5 hrs per week (45 minutes for lunch)
This is an excellent opportunity to join us and as an employee you will gain access to a large library of training courses and accreditations to help further your skills and development.
Responsibilities and Essential Skills:

- Answering incoming calls, dealing with customer queries and general phone faults
- Updating the telephone directory software with new entries and amendments
- Directing any issues to the telephone engineer
- Liaising with O2 for user mobile phone issues, SIM swaps, usage queries and new connections
- Running the monthly PABX report and the O2 billing report, then uploading to the Leonardo SharePoint site
- Reporting on DXC FDS site statistics using the data from SM9 onsite call management software, with a view to creating a monthly presentation of KPI performance for presentation to Leonardo IT management
- Updating, maintaining and reporting on clockings for DXC FDS staff, using the Leonardo SAP system
- Ability to work well in a Team
