**Job Overview**
We’re looking for a proactive, organised Admin Assistant to join our small but mighty team at Tyne Chease. This is a varied role that’s perfect for someone who enjoys keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, with a balance of administrative work, customer interaction, and content creation.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Monitor stock levels of various supplies and place orders as needed.
- Process trade orders: issue invoices, and send packing slips to the production team.
- Monitor and process online orders across multiple platforms.
- Print labels and production documents as required by team.
- Assist with checking, filing, and maintaining weekly paperwork.
- Help update internal documents and maintain document control systems.
- Ideally, assist with basic content creation for marketing (graphics, simple video, etc.).
**Additional Responsibilities**:
There is occasional weekend work available if you’re interested in extra hours. This involves attending local markets and festivals, where you’ll help with setting up, selling, and sampling our products to the public. It’s a fun, engaging way to meet our customers and represent the brand.
**Requirements**:
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g., managing spreadsheets, basic formulas).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Able to manage tasks independently and prioritise effectively.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop & Illustrator) is a strong advantage.
- Previous experience in admin, office, or customer service roles is desirable.
**Working Hours**:
This is a newly created role, so there’s flexibility for it to mould around the right person depending on fit, performance, strengths, and weaknesses.
You’ll start on a zero-hour contract during the initial probationary period, which gives us both a chance to see what works. After this, we’ll move to fixed weekly hours, with overtime potential during busier periods.
