A vacancy has arisen for a Plant Operator to join our team within our Yorkshire Water contract based in West Yorkshire.

Flexibility is key within this role as there may be a requirement to travel between the sites as and when required to meet operational needs. The hours of work may also vary based on operations. Adopting safe working techniques and good overall operation practices are essential.

Yorkshire Water provide essential water and wastewater services to every corner of the Yorkshire region 24/7 and 365 days a year and play a key role in the region’s health, wellbeing and prosperity.
- **The role briefly encompasses the following duties: -**_
- To operate Loadall telehandler to Load lorries with treated waste.
- Stock out waste into windrows & maintain windrows or in to barn storage.
- Maintain good housekeeping Standards of work areas and plant.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks on mobile plant.
- Wash down Mobile Plant.
- Log product movements.
- Maintaining the standards on any stocking pads and keeping drains and gulleys clear
- Carry out additional tasks that the operator is trained and competent to do.
- Good understanding of site safety standards.
- NPORS licence for a Loadall telehandler
- Knowledge and Experience in a similar Role.
- Hold NPORS telehandler license.
- Good problem Solver
- Good level of personal presentation and hygiene
- Flexible approach to work
- A Strong team player
- Ability to work independently and on own initiative.
- Good time keeping and willing to work overtime as necessary.
- Good communication skills, both with colleagues, other contractors and clients at all levels
- A good fit with the Hargreaves industrial services culture
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
