An innovative market leader and disruptor in the food safety support industry is looking for a Business Development Executive to join their team in Berkhamsted. Their mission is to empower small businesses to be safer and more efficient, protect their brandswhilst keeping their focus on what they do best.

They are currently in a very exciting growth phase, with the launch of their new market-disrupting app, Hubl. An innovative digital diary system for hospitality operators.

They are looking for an ambitious and solution-minded, self-starter to join their team and assist in taking this product, along with our consultancy services, to market. With approximately 130,000 foodservice businesses operating in the UK, there is a significantmarket to be explored and potential huge positive impact to be made. **The Role**:
The company has ambitious growth plans and are looking for a smart, dynamic, Client Support and New Business Development Executive, who wants to be part of this journey. You will be the first point of contact for new clients, being involved in the full salesand onboarding cycle as well as providing account management to existing clients. This will include conducting effective consultations, bringing their product to life through delivering live demonstrations and then closing the sale. They are looking for someonewho is confident with building new client relationships, maintaining existing ones and has good negotiation skills. You will have a consultative sales approach and is motivated by helping clients find the right solutions.

You will have the responsibility of introducing their new app and services to the hospitality industry, small food manufacturers and distribution companies. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in sales and is hungry fora challenge. They have an entrepreneurial environment so this opportunity would benefit someone keen to learn, grow, bring new ideas to the table and have exposure to multiple parts of our operation. There is the flexibility to communicate with clients faceto face, over the phone and through virtual live demonstrations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Build new relationships with prospective clients
- Maintain consistent contact with existing clients
- Full ownership of 360 sales cycle
- Conduct client consultations
- Delivering live product demonstrations
- Manage sales pipeline
- Analyse market and establish competitive advantages
- Track metrics to ensure targets are hit
- Setting up meetings/web demos in order to pitch products and services, either in person or virtually
- Handling and responding to inbound leads
- Generating proposals and contracts for approval
- Providing cover for e-commerce sales team

**Skillset**:

- 1+ years sales or account management experience
- Experience in managing the full sales cycle, including deal closing Demonstrated sales success
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- CRM experience is preferred
- Experience of selling products or services to the food manufacturing or hospitality sector(desirable but not essential)
- Computer literate in relevant packages (MS Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, CRM Systems)
- A team-player attitude with a strong desire to help improve internal processes beyond just your day-to-day tasks
