We are currently looking for a People Service Assistant for an independent firm of designers, planners, consultants, and technical specialists offering a broad range of professional services. They are a Global, employee-owned organization which allows theirmembers a unique opportunity to have a real say about their company’s future and development.
This is a hybrid role based in Newcastle.
**The opportunity**:
This Is an exciting opportunity for someone with confidence and self-belief in their ability to provide advice and coordinate people activity through effective communication to join the People Services Team to provide HR support to Employees and managersacross the firm.
**You will**:
- Have demonstrable experience and overall understanding of HR administration of all employee life-cycle events including working with payroll, pension, benefits, and other various stakeholders
- Be responsible for new hire administration and on-boarding
- Respond to and process queries on family-friendly policies and benefits, including first-line discussions with employees to explain policy and procedure
- Follow agreed processes and standard operating procedures to ensure consistent service is provided to employees in line with SLA’s
- Have experience in HR systems, (experience with Oracle is desirable)
- Have high attention to detail and take pride in accuracy and first-time resolution
- Be able to demonstrate strong organizational skills and work effectively to deadlines
