This, paired with the tools and industry leading training we can provide, can give you what you need to be our next recruitment superstar. **Purchase Ledger Clerk** We are seeking a Purchase ledger Clerk to join our supportive and friendly Management Accounts team on a 1-year FTC for Maternity Leave cover. This role will be responsible for managing the purchase ledger function to assist in the preparation of the month end Group Management Accounts. *** **Responsibilities**: **Purchase Ledger** - Inputting invoices into the system for processing and approval by budget holders - Responsible for the creation of a weekly payment run for review. Once reviewed, setting up payments ready for authorisation on the bank and sending remittance advices to all suppliers - Assist in the resolution of queries and complaints from suppliers and budget holders. - Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any outstanding issues - Completing balance sheet recs for purchase ledger on a monthly basis - Ensuring that recoverable VAT that is due to Gattaca is identified and appropriately coded. - Setting up new vendor accounts and ensuring that the companies' policies are followed including checking bank details directly with the supplier and ensuring VAT set up is correct. **Sales Invoices** - Responsible for the weekly upload of sales invoices from RSM into our finance system **Recharges** - Responsible for identifying purchase ledger invoices that need recharging to a client for costs relating to a contractor. - Liaising with sales consultants to get completed recharge forms so payroll solutions are able to raise the invoices to the client. - Sending the completed forms to payroll solutions so that they can raise the invoice. **Sales Ledger Refunds** - Responsible for confirming bank details with customers to enable the management accounts team to process the refund. *** **Skills, Competencies and Experiences**: - Experience of purchase ledger - Exposure to multiple currencies - Understanding of VAT legislation - Good excel skills - Good communication skills both written and verbal - Willingness to learn - Attention to detail - Studying towards AAT (Desirable) *** **What we offer**: - Excellent Growth and Development Opportunities - Industry leading training - Apprenticeship opportunities - Competitive basic salary - Flexible/hybrid working opportunities - Free onsite parking - Incentives including team all inclusive holidays *** **Next Steps** Upload your CV and if we think there is a match, a member of our Talent Hub will be in touch and arrange a phone call to discuss your options and answer any questions you might have. *** **_"I've told any agency I speak to that if you want to be world class compare yourself to Gattaca as they have set the bar." - Safran, RPO Client._** **_ _** **_"Gattaca's Excellent Training academy is what turned me from a nervous introvert into a confident, knowledgeable recruitment specialist" - William, Delivery Consultant._
