Purchase Ledger Controller

Responsibilities to include: -- Processing of purchase ledger invoices including matching to PO’s, obtaining authorisation for and coding of invoices with no PO, ensuring correct treatment of input VAT and other taxes.
- Reconciling supplier statements and proactively resolving queries with colleagues and third parties.
- Manage supplier payment expectations and put forward payment lists for review and approval.
- Closing the ledger at month end.
- Processing employee expenses ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Supporting with department strategy and business improvement.
- Being a point of contact for any escalated issues.
- Ability to influence, develop and maintain positive relationships.
- Strong purchase ledger experience.
- Good Excel skills (spreadsheets).
- Prior use of Microsoft Business Central or Microsoft NAV is desirable
