**Cathodic Protection Supervisor**

**Permanent** based **Remote or Hybrid** from Middlewich/Manchester

**up to £35000- 40000k** per annum dependent on current experience

**Main Purpose of Role**:
To supervise the delivery of all Cathodic Protection installations, monitoring, maintenance and survey work for clients across Penspen business portfolio. Ensure all team members are suitably enabled to carry out all CP related work. The post holder will work with operational, commercial and Asset Integrity colleagues, and external clients to ensure high quality and positive outcomes for all service users. Liaise with Asset Integrity colleagues to ensure timely delivery of reports to our clients in line with contracted scope of work.

**Responsibilities**:

- To deliver CP related services throughout the business.
- Plan and execute CP inspections and specialist surveys such as ac voltage monitoring, CIPS and DCVG surveys and liaise with Asset Integrity to ensure delivery of reports within agreed timelines.
- Provide recommendations as to how Penspen can generate additional revenue through ad-hoc type quotations and unscheduled tasks based on reports and analysis or as requested by clients.
- Engage contractors and employees for all CP related activities, including site supervision of direct and contract labour.
- Site visits to investigate and expedite CP related matters and concerns where required.
- Assist business manager with budget planning for CP related work across the business. Provide recommendations and design proposals for CP modifications.
- Carry out assessments and onsite training for technicians or staff in other sectors of the business.
- Ensure that company procedures are followed and relevant documentation is completed. Complete weekly reporting and submit on time.
- Ensure full and detailed records are maintained on all plant and operations completed (both manual and computerised).
- Ensure availability of all safety critical systems.
- Contribute to projects, investigations and audits (internal and external to the site) as required.
- Carry out assigned duties and work without direct supervision potentially in remote locations.
- Provide training, advice, guidance and support to other teams or individuals when applicable.
- Team work and development across all Penspen UK activities to achieve business objectives and improve performance.
- Adhere to Penspen UK Health, Safety and Environment policy and comply with employee responsibilities listed in the Health, Safety and Environment Handbook.
- To bring to the attention of the QHSE Department any failures that are in breach of the Company QHSE policies and processes and any dangerous situations.
- Prepare Risk Assessments/Method Statements for CP related tasks.
- Carry out any other duties that might reasonably be expected for the post holder.
