Cover Supervisor Tyne and Wear Up To £500 per week Pay depending on experience. About the Role Connex Education is seeking organised and responsible cover supervisors to provide general cover, classroom supervision and student support in secondary schools across the Newcastle Area. This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday from 8am-3:30pm during school term times. About the School Well-established mainstream secondary schools within the Tyne and Wear area are currently looking for enthusiastic and flexible cover supervisors to supervise classes and provide learning support during short-term staff absences. The right candidate will be someone who shares the same passion and values for education. The right candidate will be able to confidently step into lessons and continue teaching the existing schemes of work. Assignment Details As a cover supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining a productive and orderly learning environment for students ages 11-16 when their regular teacher is unavailable. This includes supervising whole classes across various subjects when teachers are absent and following lesson plans left by teachers to facilitate activities and assist students. Progression opportunities. Person Specification Must be 21 and over. MUST have experience in UK based schools. Must drive due to location of schools. You must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new one. Be able to plan and deliver engaging KS3 and KS4 lessons across ability and subject ranges.
