Wood Leisure are excited to welcome a passionate, talented and professional individual to drive our recruitment across our six Holiday Parks in Scotland.
Your role is pivotal to the smooth daily operations of our Holiday Parks by ensuring a sufficient level of team throughout the year at all locations and providing the balance of talent and ability as required through a continuous recruitment process.
This position is a full-time permanent position working 37.5 hours a week. This position required 5 days out of 7 to be worked. Weekend work is required for this position due to the nature of the business. An element of regular travelling will be required to enable a greater understanding of the business and teams. This position will be based at our Head Office (PH10 7AL)
**Main tasks for our Recruitment Coordinator are**:
- Support the drive, implementation, and enhancements of the recruitment strategy is the main focus of the role.
- Liaise regularly with Park Coordinators and Managers to identify and fill recruitment needs.
- Create and coordinate an annual recruitment plan, taking into account seasonality of the business, ensuring accuracy of requirements and planned timeframes with the senior team.
- Monitor recruitment trends in line with competitors to allow innovation in recruiting within differing target markets.
- Investigate and encourage use of funding and grants as well as Government led initiatives to encourage a new workforce in our industry.
- Support in HR duties and HR administration.
- Work alongside the senior managers and Coordinators to assist and encourage retention and understand current and future resourcing requirements.
**Key Skills and Experience**:
- Proven recruitment experience.
- Excellent planning and organisation skills.
- A creative and driven attitude with the ability to create a positive work culture.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to communicate across different levels in an organisation.
- Strong IT skills to include all Microsoft packages and social media.
- Ability to prioritise own workload and deliver to deadlines.
- Able to work as part of a small dynamic team with a very hands-on approach in a fast-paced environment.
- An understanding of the requirement of a customer focus approach when recruiting in a hospitality environment.
- Basic understanding of GDPR regulation & employment law.
